Reddit called me a banana enthusiast, and I'm not sure how I feel about that
Actually, I fibbed. I'm feeling quite keen on it, to be honest. It has a certain appeal to it (see what I did there, snickers to myself).
I've always heard that Reddit was this dreadful place, with lots of trolls hanging out in bushes waiting to pounce on even the most sincere declaration or question.
Yes, it really is like that, but as with everything in this Shakespearean drama we now find ourselves firmly trapped within the grip of, it also has it's peaceful corners to explore and sound out extended monologues to the empty theater (with hands raised to the sky for full emotional effect).
Reddit is loud and busy (even a bit nasty), but I've found some really bright spots to poke around in, and even one tucked away avenue to speak quietly about my aspiring visions of being a YouTube essayist (to know one in particular).
Alas, at least I've finally been rewarded for my doom scrolling efforts, which, to celebrate, I shall now rechristen as my happy scrolling. More bananas, please and thank you. They make me smile.
